One of its founding members and a driving force in its development, Dennis Le Feuvre, the President of the North Hastings Community Fish Hatchery, passed away of a heart attack on June 2nd 2010 at the age of 65 years.
     During his lifetime, he realized one of his life dreams – the creation of the Hatchery. He lived long enough to see Jewel Lake Trout, start their life cycle in our Hatchery, and be stocked into our local lakes.
     The community driven, volunteer run Hatchery is his legacy to our community of Bancroft & North Hastings.
